Re: The GOP " gets it" now....... NOT!
by thedemocraddict
You see, you can't blame anyone who voted for the war, because they were lied to. You can however, blame those that lied, i.e. the Bush administration. I don't even believe in organized religion and the comparison to Obama as a runner up to Jesus was a sarcastic attempt at you claiming that many think that he is. However, Jesus is the first, historically documented Democrat, so the comparison is not that far off. I feel your anger is not appropriately placed. If it is that you are so angry at all politicans, then what do you plan on doing to change it? I don't care who supported mortgages for all, it was certainly a bad idea. More so, it was a bad, and wrong, decision for banks to give people mortgages that they knew would never be able to keep up with. However, over 90% of the country does pay their mortgages on time. Hard working Americans that have a history of paying their bills, do deserve the change at a mortgage. Those who have bad credit and no long-standing jobs, do not. The banks lended this money, knowing that people would not be able to pay for the mortgages. As soon as the market crashed, look who made out anyway? Food for thought....
